New paper published in Nature Communications
Moustapha Maliki and Bruno Sudret co-author a paper on optimal renovation strategies for buildings in Switzerland.
From 2018 to 2022 our Chair collaborated with the group of Prof. Guillaume Habert on an SNSF project dedicated to the optimal robust and sustainable renovation strategies for Swiss buildings. Through the PhD thesis of Dr. Alina Galimshina, we developed innovative optimization algorithms accounting for uncertainties that were applied to life-cycle cost analysis models. After a series of publications in dedicated journals [external page1], [external page2], [external page3], [external page4], the whole project and its conclusions were summarized into a external pageNature Communication paper, emphasizing the paramount importance of heating system replacement and the use of bio-based materials in building renovation.
